Millennium Men

I’m a Union man – to play a game’s my plan

And I don’t just cheer now millennium’s here

Cos I’m a Union man

And though they say no way – you’re much to old to play

I’m still on the park for the craic and the lark

And this is what I’ll say

You won’t stop me from playing the union

You won’t stop me from playing the union

You won’t stop me from playing the union

‘Til the day I die, ‘til the day I die

I’m a Rugby player bold, I don’t do what I’m told

Cos when Saturday comes then I’m off with my chums

I’m a Rugby player bold

Though wind and limb are gone, I’ll still be playing on

When the whistle blows I’ll take on my foes

And this’ll be my song

And when the game is done there’s time for much more

fun

‘Cos it’s off to the bar for a song and a jar

When the game is done

And we’ll always stand our round, and be there when port

is downed

And shout and roar, for the next encore

And this’ll be our sound

We’re Millennium Men, we played the game back when

And we’ve got no fears for 2000 years

Yes we’re Millennium Men

And we’ll tackle big or tall, and we’ll thrive in ruck and

maul,

And win or lose rugby’s what we’ll choose

So let’s sing one and all
